School crossing patrols throughout Staffordshire are being kitted out with camera technology on their lollipops to help tackle the problem of aggressive drivers.

Last year school crossing patrols reported over 50 incidents where drivers 'failed to stop' but in reality experienced many more.

Staffordshire County Council is leading on the Lollicam project with Staffordshire Police and Stoke-on-Trent City Council to mount cameras onto lollipop sticks enabling crossing officers to capture rogue drivers on film and get the evidence straight back to the police.
