Biker Down! Staffordshire

 

Biker Down Staffordshire workshops are completely free of charge and consist of three modules including scene safety, casualty care and rider skills. Each participant receives a bespoke first aid kit designed to be carried on a motorcycle along with a commemorative pin badge to signify attendance and show your support for bikers’ safety.

The presenting team, who are all serving or ex-members of the emergency services and keen motorcyclists, have many combined years of specialist knowledge around operational motorcycling, advanced first aid, collision investigation and reconstruction.

The group is headed up by Rob Gilligan a former Sergeant with Staffordshire Police and the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG).

The team have more than 150 years of operational blue light response experience between them and invite you inside Staffordshire Police Headquarters to share their collective knowledge around:

Keeping safe at any the scene of a road traffic collision and evidential considerations.

Practical, lifesaving trauma care built on real life experience.

Rider skills and next steps from operational motorcyclists.
