Motorcycle Safety

The safety of motorcyclists is a priority for the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership as they make up a disproportionate number of those killed or injured on our roads.The SSRP and its partners run a number of initiatives. Ride it Right Routes

Biker Breakfast Events

Bike Safe

This national scheme is delivered by Staffordshire Police and gives motorcyclist access to a theory class, observed ride with an Advanced Police Motorcyclist and comprehensive debrief. For more information: Staffordshire Police – BikeSafe



BikeSense offers riders the opportunity to improve their skills through subsidised training. Attendees can also take advantage of discounts on further training and insurance. For more information: BikeSense – Staffordshire Biker (


Pre CBT Scheme

This initiative aims to reduce young rider casualties across Staffordshire by better preparing young bikers for the road. Completion can also provide a discount on their CBT. For more information: Pre CBT scheme – Staffordshire Biker (


Young Biker Barbecues

Biker Down

Group Riding Scheme
