Child car seats
A car seat is one of the most important items of equipment you will use to keep your child safe when travelling, so it’s essential to choose the right one for their individual needs.
Car seats and the law:
Children should use a car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135cm tall, whichever comes first. After that, they must wear a seat belt.
A high-back booster seat provides extra protection and support. For younger children and infants, a rear-facing seat is the safest option.
