The safety of motorcyclists is a priority for us, as they make up a disproportionate number of those killed or injured on our roads. Along with our partners, we run a number of initiatives. If you’re a motorcyclist, or have family or friends who are, take a look at some of options available.

FirstBike

If you ride a small engine motorcycle, or are thinking about taking your CBT, FirstBike is for you. Full of information and advice for the new rider, it helps you get on the road and stay safe without breaking the bank. This edition covers everything from getting your licence and taking the CBT, to buying your first bike and all the essential kit you need to stay safe. Pre-CBT Scheme

Young Biker Barbecues

All Riders

 

Ride it Right Routes

Bike Safe

This national scheme is delivered by Staffordshire Police and gives motorcyclist access to a theory class, observed ride with an Advanced Police Motorcyclist and comprehensive debrief. For more information, visit: Staffordshire Police – BikeSafe

 

BikeSense

Biker Down! workshops

RideOn

If you’re a more experienced rider on a larger engine bike, RideOn is for you. Looking at post-test training, buying a bike, gear and lots more. This edition can be viewed full screen and shared.
