Motorcycle Safety

The safety of motorcyclists is a priority for the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership as they make up a disproportionate number of those killed or injured on our roads.The SSRP and its partners run a number of initiatives. If you’re a motorcyclist, or have family or friends who are, take a look below to see some of options that are available.

Ride it Right Routes

Biker Breakfast Events

Bike Safe

This national scheme is delivered by Staffordshire Police and gives motorcyclist access to a theory class, observed ride with an Advanced Police Motorcyclist and comprehensive debrief. For more information: Staffordshire Police – BikeSafe

BikeSense

BikeSense offers riders the opportunity to improve their skills through subsidised training. Attendees can also take advantage of discounts on further training and insurance. For more information: BikeSense – Staffordshire Biker (staffsbiker.co.uk)

Pre CBT Scheme

This initiative aims to reduce young rider casualties across Staffordshire by better preparing young bikers for the road. Completion can also provide a discount on their CBT. For more information: Pre CBT scheme – Staffordshire Biker (staffsbiker.co.uk)

Young Biker Barbecues

Biker Down

First Aid for Bikers

Group Riding Scheme
